New high profile members elected to CEDA board

The National Chairman of CEDA, Mr Geoff Allen today announced the election of four new members to Board of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA).

They are:

• Russell Caplan, Former Chairman of Shell Australia and company director,
• the Hon Warwick Smith AM, Former Minister in the Howard Government and now Chair, the Advisory Board, Australian Capital Equity Pty Ltd
• Ann Sherry AO, Chief Executive Officer, Carnival Australia, and
• Ian Stirling, Chief Executive Officer of ElectraNet Pty Ltd

"In the year of our 50^th anniversary it is pleasing to see such high calibre business leaders committing to work with CEDA in its pursuit of forward looking policy research and public debate on major issues affecting Australia," Mr Allen said.
