Prof. Megan Davis | The rights of Indigenous peopleProfessor Megan Davis is a constitutional lawyer currently serving as an expert with the United Nations Rights Council’s Expert Mechanism on the rights of Indigenous peoples; a member of the NSW Sentencing Council; and an Australian Rugby League Commissioner. She has held important public policy roles here and internationally; has been the lead constitutional lawyer working on Indigenous constitutional reform since 2011; and in 2015 was appointed by the Prime Minister to the Referendum Council.

Dr. Chris Sarra | The rights of Indigenous peopleDr Chris Sarra has long pursued outcomes for Indigenous communities. High expectations have been central to his policy and practice. He has served as a teacher and school principal; was founder and Chair of the Stronger Smarter Institute; Co-Chair of the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Committee; and an Australian Rugby League Commissioner. Chris holds a PhD in Psychology, a Bachelor of Education, Master of Teaching and an Executive Masters in Public Administration. He was appointed Director-General in 2018.
