SA State of the State: Focus on critical service delivery

With health and housing issues compounding the rising cost of living, the strain on the provision and financing of essential services has intensified in recent months.

At CEDA's recent SA State of the State, state ministers and a range of industry experts explored these critical challenges. This included a critical conversation on the intersection of issues across the ministers' respective portfolios and an overview of Governmental efforts to provide relief in these areas. The discussion ultimately provided valuable insights into the current state of health and housing in South Australia, the impact of the rising cost of living, and the strategies being implemented to address these challenges.

Our speakers included:

- SA Government Minister for Housing and Urban Development; Housing Infrastructure & Planning, The Hon. Nick Champion MP.
- SA Minister for Human Services and Minister for Seniors and Ageing Well, The Hon. Nat Cook.
- SA Minister for Health and Wellbeing, The Hon Chris Picton MP.
- Flinders University Vice-President and Executive Dean, Professor Michael Gilding.
