CEDA's Economic and Political Overview 2013 publication, was launched with a series of events in capital cities across Australia.

  Professor van Onselen provides a political analysis of factors influencing this year's federal election including what and how policy issues will be targeted by the major parties. He also provides analysis of the likely outcome of the election, including for key independents and minor parties.
• The outlook for clecticity prices in 2020
  Professor Paul Simshauser, Chief Economist, AGL Energy and Tim Nelson, Head of Economics, Policy and Sustainability, AGL Energy
  Paul Simshauser and Tim Nelson provide an analysis of electricity pricing outlining the history of the Australian electricity market and why electricity prices have increased sharply since 2008. They also provide price forecasts to 2020 and recommendations for policy reform.
